Frequently Q&A: - Will my car go any faster after Drax Tuning Innovation tuning ?In most cases your car will achieve a higher top speed.Standard car are equipped with a rev and speed limiter. (most modern car´s have) Drax Tuning Innovation have in some cases increased the rev and speed limit to reach a higher top speed. - What about the fuel consumption after DraxTuning Innovation tuning ?Optimizing the software in the ECU will provide increased power and less fuel consumtion in general.- What about "Wear and Tear" ?Drax Tuning Innovation tuning doesn't affect "wear and tear" at all. It's how you drive and look after your car (service intervals etc) that affect the conditions of your vehicle. - Can my garage & mechanic see that my carhas been tuned ?Your local garage does not normally have the skill or equipment to read files from the ECU, to do this they have to send the ECU back to the vehicle manufacturer. We never encourage the Drax Tuning Innovation users to cheat their garage, car salesman etc. that the car is tuned with our software programme. We think instead it's better to tell the truth. Our Software Programme doesn't in any way affect servicing or fault diagnosis.- Can the dealer see that my car is modified? There is no removal or addition of any hardware so there are no physical indications that the car had been modified. Engine electronics communicate exactly as original as if the software is using 'Stock' ecu. most current diagnostic equipments cannot detect any difference. If however the car is left in performance mode it becomes obvious that its not standard when someone drives the car, this could be confirmed by data logging requested boost values. As there are no permanent changes to the ECU the factory original code can simply be reloaded at any time.- How fast will my car accelerate from 0-100 Km/hafter tuning with Drax Tuning Innovation? The reduced time for acceleration and car performance is dependent on the effect and gain in torque. On several models Drax Tuning Innovation have measured the acceleration time before and after tuning and the results are published on the specific car dyno results. |
